Chris travelled from Tulsa, OK, USA to visit Cecil in Bohol, Philippines for two months--April and May of 2009! They are now happily engaged, and Cecil is planning to come to the US to marry Chris and start a family! This is a journal with photos beginning in March with introductions. Just click on each month!

Pilgrimage
We stood in line for 2 hours in the blistering heat, climbing up to the Mother Mary shrine to venerate her holy image. Pilgrims hold up umbrellas to protect themselves from the heat of the sun.
